Traditional Wisdom · Modern Nutrition

Food as Medicine.
Nourishment as Care.

Five meals daily, crafted by hand, rooted in the ancient wisdom of 坐月子 — and the science of postnatal recovery.

Our Nutrition Philosophy

Five Meals. Every Day. Crafted for Your Recovery.

At NewBond, we believe that what you eat during your 28 days profoundly shapes your recovery — your energy, your milk supply, your hormonal balance, and your long-term health.

Our kitchen team prepares every meal fresh, every day. No reheated food. No shortcuts. Each ingredient is chosen for its healing properties — ginger for warmth and circulation, red dates for blood replenishment, papaya for milk supply, sesame oil for joint recovery.

"Every ingredient is chosen for its healing properties. Every dish tells a story of recovery."

坐月子 · The Four Stages

Nourishment in Four Stages

Traditional Chinese confinement wisdom teaches that postpartum recovery follows a distinct progression. Our meals are crafted to match each stage of your healing journey.

Days 1–7

排毒代谢

Detoxification

Light, cleansing soups and lochia-clearing herbs. Gentle on the body as it begins its recovery. Focus on expelling toxins and reducing postnatal swelling.

Days 8–14

调理修复

Recovery & Repair

Building blood, reducing inflammation, and beginning tissue repair. Richer soups and warming foods to restore energy and support milk supply.

Days 15–21

滋补养气

Nourishment

Qi replenishment and strength building. Full, nourishing meals with sesame oil chicken, papaya fish soup, and double-boiled herbal broths to fortify body and spirit.

Days 22–28

巩固强体

Consolidation

Full nourishment and preparation to return home strong. Rich, satisfying meals designed to consolidate all the recovery gains of the past three weeks.

A Day at the NewBond Table

What a Day of Meals Looks Like

Five nourishing moments spread through your day — from breakfast to supper.

8:30am

Breakfast

Nourishing porridge or congee, warm soya with chia seed, and other wholesome staples to start the day gently.

12:00pm

Lunch

A full spread — mixed quinoa rice, a protein dish, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, and a herbal tonic soup (药膳汤) served alongside to help the body better absorb the nutrition.

3:00pm

Afternoon Nourishment

A light afternoon treat — pastry, fresh fruits, and a nourishing bloom treat to maintain energy through the afternoon.

6:00pm

Dinner

A full dinner — brown and red rice, a protein dish, sautéed mixed vegetables, and a nourishing soup to wind down the day.

8:00pm

Supper

A comforting dessert to close the day — such as black sesame paste or other warm sweet soups. A soothing ritual before rest.
